Oak Mountain edges Spain Park in tennis match

The Oak Mountain High School girls’ tennis team edged Spain Park 5-4 in high school tennis action March 24.

The Eagles won three singles’ matches and two doubles’ matches against Spain Park.

Ashley Ochsenhirt of Oak Mountain defeated Lauren Schroeder of Spain Park 10-4 in the No. 2 singles’ match. Carter Tomlinson of Oak Mountain defeated Robyn Mitchell of Spain Park 11-9 in the No. 4 singles’ match.

Mary Catherine Touliatos of Oak Mountain defeated Kensley Yarbrough of Spain Park 10-6 in the No. 6 singles’ match.

Ochsenhirt and Laurel Reeves of Oak Mountain defeated Yarbrough and Madison Luther of Spain Park 10-7 in the No. 2 doubles’ match. Touliatos and Anna Manning of Oak Mountain defeated Mitchell and Lulu Zhang of Spain Park 10-8 in the No. 3 doubles’ match.

The Jaguars won three singles’ matches and one doubles’ match against Oak Mountain.

Kati Baker of Spain Park defeated Katie Gould of Oak Mountain 10-2 in the No. 1 singles’ matches. Luther defeated Rian Imwalle of Oak Mountain 10-6 in the No. 3 singles’ matches.

Zhang defeated Manning 10-4 in the No. 5 singles’ match. Baker and Schroeder defeated Gould and Imwalle 10-4 in the No. 1 doubles’ match.
