The Oak Mountain High School softball team edged Hillcrest-Tuscaloosa 2-1 in high school softball action April 8.

The Eagles (24-8) plated the game-winning run in the top of the sixth inning.

Leah Reeve led Oak Mountain as she finished 2-for-3 at the plate. Reeve drove in one run and scored one run in the victory.

Maddie Ridgeway finished 2-for-3 at the plate and scored one run. Kailey Boone went 1-for-3 at the plate and drove in one run.

Nicole Kehr (12-2) earned the win in the circle after giving up one unearned run on five hits in a complete game.
