The Pelham High School baseball team defeated Spruce Creek High School (Fla.) 3-2 in a spring break tournament March 21 in Panama City, Fla.

Hunter Soleymani led the Panthers (22-1) as he finished 2-for-3 at the plate with a double. Soleymani drove in all three runs in the victory.

Ty Pierce added a pair of doubles and scored two runs in the win.

Parker Curry earned the win on the mound after giving up two runs, including one earned run, on three hits with eight strikeouts and four walks in a complete-game victory.
