The Oak Mountain High School boys’ tennis team defeated Hillcrest-Tuscaloosa 7-2 in high school tennis action March 1.

The Eagles (2-3) won five singles’ matches and two doubles’ matches against the Patriots.

Preston Touliatos of Oak Mountain defeated Irwin Corpez of Hillcrest 10-4 in the No. 1 singles’ match. Kyle Ehlers of Oak Mountain defeated Blake Burroughs of Hillcrest 10-5 in the No. 2 singles’ match.

The Eagles’ Thomas Mason defeated Nelson Parsons of Hillcrest 10-2 in the No. 3 singles’ match. Jake Marinelli of Oak Mountain defeated Tyler Wakefield of Hillcrest 10-5 in the No. 4 singles’ match.

Hunter Dodson of Oak Mountain defeated Tanner Bosch of Hillcrest 10-2 in the No. 5 singles’ match. Oak Mountain’s Mark Newton fell to Barrett Letcher of Hillcrest 10-3 in the No. 6 singles’ match.

Touliatos and Ehlers defeated Burroughs and Wakefield 10-4 in the No. 1 doubles’ match. Mason and Marinelli defeated Corpez and Letcher 10-7 in the No. 2 doubles’ match.

Dodson and Andriy Naavhust of Oak Mountain fell to Parsons and Dino Harris of Hillcrest 10-7 in the No. 3 doubles’ match.
