The Pelham High School volleyball team swept Hoover 25-20, 25-19, 25-20 in an Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 6A, Area 10 match Sept. 8.

Senior Dana Allen led the Panthers (15-9 overall, 2-1 in Class 6A, Area 10) with 13 kills in the victory. Allen also recorded four digs and two service aces in the match.

Senior Porsha Tolbert added six kills, six digs and two service aces. Senior Sydney Days registered six kills and a team-high 25 assists in the match.

Junior Haeden Tucker finished with 11 digs. Sophomore Caitland Smith contributed two blocks.
