Hope Christian tops New Life in tournament

The Hope Christian School girls’ basketball team defeated New Life Christian 32-16 in its Alabama Christian Sports Conference tournament opener Feb. 14.

Leigh Wilson Legg led the Eagles with 12 points in the victory. Legg also grabbed three rebounds and finished with two steals.

Erin Douglas added eight points and five rebounds. Rachel Rettig and Joelle Reed chipped in four points each.

Karlee Tate and Lindy Walker finished with two points each.
