Hope Christian softball tops Tuscaloosa Christian

The Hope Christian School softball team defeated Tuscaloosa Christian 17-6 in high school softball action April 14.
Tiffany Skinner led the Eagles at the plate as she finished 4-for-4 with a double. Skinner drove in four runs and scored two runs in the victory.
Layla Skinner, who drove in three runs and scored one run, finished 1-for-3 at the plate with a double. Glennleigh Boyd went 1-for-3 at the plate and drove in two runs. Samantha Rowley finished 1-for-3 at the plate and scored two runs.
Ashleigh Callahan drove in two runs and scored two runs. Ashley Vann drove in one run and scored four runs. Lindy Walker drove in one run and scored three runs. Amanda Rowley drove in one run and scored one run. Hannah Rettig and Ani Hughes scored one run each.
Vann earned the win in the circle after giving up two earned runs on three hits with 13 strikeouts and four walks in a complete game.
