The Hope Christian School softball team defeated De La Salle of New Orleans, La., 21-9 in high school softball action March 17.

Lindy Walker led the Eagles with four hits, including a triple, in the victory. Walker also drove in five runs.

Amanda Rowley added three hits. Sarah Birdsong finished with two hits. Kathleen Clark, Abby Patton, Layla Skinner, Rachel Rettig, Samantha Rowley and Nicole Mauk added one hit each.

Amanda Rowley and Clark drove in two runs each. Hannah Hale, Patton, Rettig and Birdsong drove in one run each.

Walker earned the win in the circle after striking out seven batters in a five-inning complete game.
