The Hope Christian School softball team fell to New Life Christian 5-4 in high school softball action April 17.

Abby Patton led the Eagles offensively with three hits, including a triple. Patton also drove in two runs.

Lindy Walker added two hits and drove in one run. Amanda Rowley, who finished with a double, joined Samantha Rowley, Kathleen Clark and Glennleigh Boyd with one hit each.

Walker, who recorded six strikeouts, took the loss in the circle in a complete-game effort.
